Holistic retreats at moulin de latreille
Have you ever felt that you needed to get away from everyone and everything? To retreat to a magical place where there's no one to look after, only people to look after you?
And wouldn't it be lovely if we were able simply to press the Reset button like a mechanical device that isn't working as it should? This is exactly what my friend Fi Stonor and I have conceived: to marry my own experience as an energy and massage therapist with her catering skills in the Moulin de Latreille, her family's beautifully restored 13th century watermill deep in the hidden valley of the Ouysse, not far from Rocamadour.
The mill and its magical location make it a place of unique energy for healing mind, body and soul. Here you can enjoy clean fresh air, woodland, river, cliffs and meadows full of wild flowers and experience the restorative power of nature.
RETREATS OVERVIEW
who are these retreats for?
For anyone who may feel drained, tired or overwhelmed, perhaps lacking in motivation or inspiration, or who may feel as though they have lost their sense of self, these retreats are designed to help you reconnect to your own source, leaving you revitalised with a sense of peace and clarity.
What to expect?
Over the programmed five days and four nights, you can work with me on your own issues, while connecting with a small like-minded group of people and borrowing the benefits of their treatments and revelations. Using energy techniques, EFT, aromatherapy massage, chakra balancing and meditation sessions, I will work with you in individual and group sessions to treat your most urgent concerns.
This retreat is limited to five people in order to create a safe and intimate space in which to be held. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed with tea and cake and given the time to meet the others and introduce yourselves. There will be a guided meditation and the opportunity to set your goal or intention for your time here.
All EFT sessions will take place within the group, while the main focus will be on one person at a time. Every member has a vital part to play within the group and will borrow benefits even when when it is not their turn. In my experience, these group sessions can have deep and magical effects, with lasting impact long after you have returned home to your own lives.
Each person will have the opportunity to work on whatever issue they choose. These issues might be creative challenges or difficulties, career choices, conflicts in relationships, or any recurring problems that they would like to resolve.
Furthermore, each participant will receive one aromatherapy massage, specifically designed to meet their needs. With the use of essential oils, and working on the body’s energies and chakras, feel the release of physical and/or emotional tensions that you may have been storing for a long time. The powerful combination of EFT and aromatherapy is deeply healing and part of my holistic approach to your health and well-being.
Other things to expect are daily guided meditations, Qi Qong and a musical surprise in celebration of the Autumn Equinox.
By the end of your stay, you will also go away with some tools for you to use to continue a process of rejuvenation and liberation.
Fi Stonor
Since meeting Fi over 20 years ago, some of my happiest memories are associated with her, her family and their wonderful watermill where friends and guests come to share a unique, rejuvenating ambience. We have built a deep connection over this time as soul-sisters. Fi is warm, funny, intuitive and compassionate. Her acute sense of good taste has helped to transform their ancient mill into somewhere that feels at once traditional but modern, stylish and comfortable.
Moulin de Latreille
Built by Cistercian monks, this remarkable restored 13th century watermill nestles in the silent and timeless valley of the Ouysse river, known to the locals as the Emerald River for its sparkling clarity. Surrounded by woods, limestone cliffs and meadows, kingfishers, otters, swans, herons, nightingales, wild orchids, damsel flies and butterflies all abound here. Guests can choose to relax in a hammock with a good book; swim, kayak or fish on the river; or walk the meadows or cliffs and find a hidden corner in which to picnic, paint or just watch nature go by.
The mill-house has been restored in a spirit of simplicity and comfort to create a meditative space sensitive to its historic past. An ideal venue for therapies, reflection and relaxation, it comprises seven double bedrooms (three en suite) and spacious living areas, inside and out.
To reinforce the theme of health and well-being, all meals for the five days will be vegetarian, organic and locally sourced, and prepared with love.

Once in Calès, take the sign for the Parking (P) for Le Petit Relais Hotel, continue round to the left and then straight on down the hill into the valley. The road is tarmacked for the first 1,200m, then turns into a bumpy track until you reach the mill. Please note the telephone poles on the way down, you are on the right road.
Collections and drop-offs are available by special arrangement.
